Newer dash into a little older truck

Anyone ever install a newer dash like 04 up into a 99? I have thought about it but am not sure it is worth it. Thoughts anyone??

I have thought the same. I would love to have a newer dash in my 89. Havent gotten around to doing any basic measurements. That would be a good place to start.
