What does an ls1 conversion usually run. I know it depends on the price you get stuff for. But lets say you get it all from a salvage yard. im looking for an ls1 5.7 or a 6.0 Not the crappy 6.0 either, the one with aluminum heads. I havent found a complete 6.0 on the internet yet. All im asking for is just a generalization of the cost. the motor, the wiring, the t 56, clutch, i can get my driveshaft done for free, mounts, fuel pump, and anything else i forgot or dont know about. If anyone can help please tell me. I have till summer to get this done

I'd say a complete one for 3800$ with high miles or about 4500$ with somewhat low miles.
That is the complete setup, take off about 800 or so without the trans.

there are auto combos all over ebay in the 3400-3600 range with decent mileage....the t56 combos go for a bit more....usually 4000-4500 even with some mileage on em.
