i know allen used these and i know a few others did as well. but i was wondering what size hoses i needed to use for the intake. i'm in tallahassee at college and my truck is in pensacola so i can't just go measure everything. i'm almost positive i need 4" hose but everyone else has been telling me 3.5" to make sure it fits snug. i don't want to order hose and then have it not fit and have to order and wait for more. i really don't think that this stuff is going to stretch that much to merrit 3.5" hose. what have you guys used? i'm planning on getting everything from air flow systems

Mabye we need to have someone measure them. I know the maf is 4" on the IN side. I think it's the same size on the OUT side too. I also thing the TB is 3.5".
Maybe someone can come in and confirm this.
btw, get those badass t-bolt style clamp.
You're right, there rubber won't stretch that much it's very tuff, tuff enough to hold up the filter.

LS1 throttle body intake diameter is 3.875" (3-7/8") and the diameter of the ends of the MAF sensor is 3.540" (just over 3-17/32"). I am not sure if it is the same size intake on the Vortech truck intake.

Good luck finding something to match those up without possibly leaking. SLP has them for LS1 F-bodies.

    I used: 4" 90deg Intake Elbow .................................................. ...90HLASL
4" Intake Tubing, I bought 24" bought used less than 18".....AL4
    4 x 3.5" Hump hose.............................................. ............ 40R35SL
    K&N Round Tapered air filter 3 7/8 I.D...............................RF-1029

The 3 7/8 filter fits the Maf inlet fine, the 3.5 on the Hump hose fits the outlet on the maf a little snug but no problem to stretch, I think a 4" would be sloppy. Hope this helps.

That one would be the lt-1 camaro intake elbow without the air silencer coming off the bottom.
