    LQ4 Fan clutch removal?

I am thinking about just keeping my stock LQ4 water pump for now since I am a little short on funds, I was just wanting to know how to remove the fan clutch from the snout of the pump?

    Thanks

I use a big cresent wrench and and chain wrench to hold the water pump pulley. Just be careful clamping the pulley.

Also the pump is not on a car, so any tips on holding the pulley in place while I turn the nut without damaging the pulley?

yep...air hammer and catch the nut on the corner and it will come loose with ease.
