I am wondering what can be done (if anything) to my tranny. It has a shift kit and all the torque managment removed being a newer 2002 tranny sombody thought it might have the vette servo so I didnt get that but during the install I found it did not so that is on my list. The first to second is great, but 2-3 shift doesnt seem to slip but is not very solid it really feels like it is still TQ mgt.
anyway is there anything I can do for this?
it has a TB converter.
Thanks

Superior billet "super servo" should do the trick.

so the servos are not only for the 1-2 shift they also help the 2-3 shift? The truck just seems to almost fall off when it shifts...

I would get the servo set, the superior billet servo and the larger OD servo. That will help during all of your shifts!

Yes. I was having problems with mine bouncing off the limiter at the 2-3 shift. I bought a shift kit and servo but I only installed the servo. It totally cured the problem. I am very happy with it.

great info guys!
So is the OD servo also outside of the case? I had the main servo out during the shift kit install.
Is the Superior billet ones that much better? I think they are 15 or so for the vette ones and 95 or so for the billet...

My tranny should have come from the factory with the vette servo, but I can't verify if it did or not, but the billet servo is night & day better imo. They claim 35% more apply pressure over the vette servo. I got mine for $65 on ebay.
