So of course im planning on doing the lq4/4l80e swap on my 2000 regcab in the near future. I was wondering if i would need to get a smaller driveshaft so it would fit? If so what would be the best option, buying one, or getting it cut? How exactly do they cut a driveshaft? What truck from another truck would fit the same setup as mine? Im trying to get all the small tangibles out of the way so i have everything ready when i get all the stuff together to do the swap.
