WELCOME!Me and a friend are in the process of switching his 4.3 to an LQ4. We already have the V6 out and are trying to fugure out the motor mounts. We can prob give each other advice. You came to the right place if you are going to need advice there are countless numbers of smart people in here.

Welcome, JLZ. You've got an easy swap coming your way. All you need is your PCM reprogrammed for the 6.0 and you'll be good to go. All you have to do is remove and replace parts for parts. There is nothing difficult about your swap unless you get an early model 6.0 with the thicker cranshaft flange.
