Hey guys, just heard about this site. I was asking the owner of a Cherolet dealership how to get a little better fuel mileage out of my HD Silverado with a 6.0, and I was directed here immediately.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of stuff, but it sounds like a huge fuel mileage improvement too!
This Nelson tune that everyone is talking about......where do I need to go for that?

Welcome! Go to www.nelsonperformance.com for a tune. Drop as much weight out of the truck as you can. Leave the spare at home. Don't add the big heavy bumpers. Run tall narrow tires aired up to maximum pressure, not short wide tires aired down for the track. Keep the oil changed, run synthetic rear gear and engine oils. If you're a big guy like me, lose weight.
