I wanted to show off the new engine harness but there's not much to look at lol.
I was like "where's the harness" I guess that's a good thing.

If you look close you can see the harness done on around the intake manifold only.

The mess behind the intake will be cleaned up and shrinked, then ran through the firewall, directly behind and below the intake. The harness should be invisible.

Here are some pics. The last pic really show's how clean it is!

Anyone need a custom harness done?

Keep the updates coming! It's starting to take shape and looks good. What connects to the fuel rail pressure tee?

I think I want to move my PCM under the cab. I have lots of room where the fuel tanks used to be!

Allen ,

PLease let me know when you are ready to sell these. I want one. For sure.... if I can e assured that it's just plug and play. I'm clumsy as hell.

Got my 2 pulleys today. The truck still wont' rev above 5600. Falls flat on it's nose at 5600 and acts like the rev limiter is still activated. Yesterday it would lot even shift because it wouldn't rev high enough.

Anyway... I want the harness.

Thanks for the comments, John, my help and brother does an awesome job with wiring! The pcm is going to be located under the dash, probably near the glove box. I have plenty of room in that area.
I wish the truck intake was so damn ugly. Later on, I'm getting a nice sheetmetal intake made, then it'll look awesome! This week we'll finish up the harness, install the fuel pump harnesses, and get the starter and battery wired up.

I think I'll rework the GTO harness and shrink everything, it looks much nicer than wire loom.

GMCwants and TRT, Come on over guys, we can build you one! I promise you nobody will pay more attention to detail then us! We just did a '70 Camaro LS1 swap harness and it's also invisible.

Jim, your truck is a mystery, lol, JK, I'll get a hold of you this week and see if we can't figure it out.
We can rework a stock harness to look like this, but, I can't say it's plug and play. The factory harness goes to so many places, I'd have to have your truck here to rework it. I'll see what I can come up with. I've always thought the truck harnesses were very messy.

thanks,
allen

Allen, instead of a sheetmetal intake, why not get the Edelbrock cast aluminum intake? It's about $250 and you can do all kinds of silly stuff to it including nitrous nozzles or a plate system. You never have to worry about a backfire with the cast intake. You can get the 100 degree elbow to put whatever size of TB you want to run upon the intake from a 75mm up to about 120mm and some larger if need be.
