Officially Swapping in a 6.0/2wd 4L80e into my 99 OBS Escahoe - GET DA WATER

Here is a link to my original build thread where it all started! I like to thank ALL the members over there...they got me started and I am here to finish it!

    http://www.pacificp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11164

I have a 99 OBS Tahoe with Caddy Clip all Murdered Out with a few other goodies

I was just about to install A Pro-Charger with a few bolt-ons and the spyder unit went. I just re-did the heads and installed a new unit about 30k. I couldn't find a Marine Intake Manifold either. Guys over GM Performance persuaded me to swap in a LS motor. I got lucky and came home with 6.0L/2wd 4L80e, complete harness and PCM out of a 00 Chevy 2500 Series HD with 111k on it.

Left a deposit guy had it pulled out in a week and went back to go pick it up!
Finally got it home for the tear down & Prepped for paint

Now for some REAL TALK, don't ask me why but for some gawd awful reason I thought I would have this thing installed for 5k with some FI. I am past that at this point and as of right now there is NO F/I being swapped in, it will come later as well as a stall. I promise. She is set-up for boost with LS9 Cam...once I get F/I on her then a custom cam will be on order. Here is my parts list...I included every part number and place where I got it from and why. I have seen a lot of build threads on a few forums...NO PART numbers and no rhyme or reason why they got the part.

    PARTS WITH PART NUMBERS
    1) 6.0/2wd 4L80e with harness, computer,& MAF out of a 00 Chevy 2500 Series P/U that has 111k on it
Last 8 of the Vin: yz271505

    2) Complete Engine Gasket Kit with ARP Head Studs, Harmonic ARP Bolt, and OEM Thick MLS Head Gasket
    Link: http://www.texas-speed.com/p-194-del...asket-kit.aspx
FYI: You need to pull apart your heads and make sure what head studs you have in order to get the right one's (Combo of Short and Long). I choose to get the ARP Crank Pulley b/c I am keeping this set-up for a very long time! I do not want to buy a new pulley every time I dissemble the motor (costly).
THIS KIT DOES NOT COME WITH WITH THE FOLLOWING PARTS- OIL PAN GASKET, REAR MAIN SEAL KIT, REAR GASKET

    A) Oil Pan Gasket GM# 10220906
    B) Rear Main Seal Kit GM# 89060436
    C) Rear Gasket GM# 12633578

    2) New Melling Oil Pump #10295

    New PRC CNC'D L92 heads

LS2 Timing Cover Kit (includes cover, sensor, bolts, gaskets, etc) - PK12600325 -
    LS2 3 bolt 4x cam sprocket - 12586481 -
BUT: GMPartsDirect sent the wrong Sensor or did not sent it at all. THE SENSOR NEEDED is GM Part# 12591720 (from an LS2)
I would double check your box or just order it from some place else.
You can order a harness to extend wires or just make it yourself

    BUT...

I was in the midst of purchasing injector's 8.1 Marines...The seller informed me that the 99 OBS has a return style fuel system and L92 Truck intake is set-up for Returnless...I need to convert as well as make custom TB cable bracket since L92 is orignally a DBW set-up. I was at work and he kinda pressured me into buying 8.1 Marine Injectors, modified fuel rails for the conversion and the TB Cable bracket. Honestly I paid 200 for everything...says it is possible for one of the injectors needs to be bleed. The only reason why I got the fuel rails is b/c of basically the price he gave them to me at. Price of AN fitting...my time and sweating my nuts off cutting into the fuel rails and having the AN fittings...not a bad deal. Just don't like being husselled.

Is he telling the truth...if so what else needs to be done as far as fuel system wise to get the conversion going? Also said I will NOT need adapters for the injectors...snap right into my harness.
Do I need a Aeromotive FPR now...do I need a ad a inline warlboro with SS Lines and fittings?

Keep your fingers crossed and pray a lot that you dont get those rear two cylinders too hot and loose a ringland. A lot of people have seen cylinder temps get too high in the rear cylinders because of poor coolant circulation and the older style crossover which helps to bring the coolant to the rear as well has been know to help fight that.

    I couldn't find a brand a new one...know where I can get one?

Under what conditions where the cylinder's getting hot? I don't plan on hot lapping the truck...just a nice little DD...my HP goals are b/w 550-600 when it is all said and done. I am extremely interested in entering the Sandhills Open Road Race in Arnold, Nebraska. I want to compete in the 80mph trap. http://www.arnoldne.org/pages/sorc
