    Starting my first ls swap!!

    Hey guys starting my first ls swap into my 85 swb chevy! Picked up motor, stand alone, fuel pump and stuff today, Kenny will have tranny ready tommarrow and the dingo motor mounts will be here Saturday! Ill keep pics and stuff posted as I go! Is there any secrets or things that would be nice to know during the swap?

    My only advice is take your time, do things right the first time and make the install as clean and neat as you can, you will be pleased afterwards with the swap. post up some pics, any questions you have along the way will be answered here, great place for support and information

    out of all the things involved I tried to save money on my harness. BIG mistake. I paid $450 for a POS. Now I am going to cough up another $650 for a good one. Most people use Nelson performance. They are the people I will use for my new one.

    Not sure of the brand of this one it come with motor that I bought! Hope it's a good one cause I've heard nothing but bad on cheap ones!

    out with the 350! new power plant! Small cam. seemed to be the mounts of most people's choice! More pics as I go

    Hey guys got the swap complete running and driving! Got to do some clean up work with the wires and stuff but ill take some detailed pictures of all that I can and list all parts used! This is a straight forward swap that almost anyone with mechanical skills could do!
