    Any tips on swapping a ly6 with a 6l90 in a 94 rcsb

I hope the 6l90 will fit. I was going to put in my chevelle but I can't cut my tunnel to make it fit. To nice of a car. So I'm sticking it in the truck. If there's any helpful tip or tricks let me know.

The driveshaft will turn considerably faster in overdrive gear, so get a good well balanced driveshaft!

Thanks. I guess I'll have to buy a new drive shaft? I was thinking about that tonight. Both motor and tranny came out of the same truck. I got both computers, pedal ,maf, serpentine set everything for under $2,000 43,000 miles on truck. I sure hope it fits. Worst case I could trade it for a 4l80

What do y'all think of the 6l90? Better than the 4l80. Better gear range. What gears should I run. It has 3.42. I will be running the stock 454 ss wheels. 15 inch . I want the truck to look stock

If its gonna be a track truck 4l80. If its going to be mostly street 6l90. At least thats how I look at it. Keep the 3.42s because the 6l90 has a 4.02 first gear and with im guessing 26-28 inch tire its going to go thru it pretty quick.

Mostly street. I need to put a locker in the rear. I think the 3.42 will work just fine. That 10 bolt will hold up for awhile. I wish I could put my 14 bolt out of my max in it. I don't want to change the lug pattern.
