96 Sierra 5.3 swap need advice

So here's where my swap is at have the 5.3 in and street and sand performance harness and ECM all hooked up. Problem is I had a Craigslist hack try and finish up project and he cut up 96 harness. This is a wiring nightmare. Does anyone know of affordable options to control ECM and trans and fuel. I see Holley makes some stuff but it's almost a thousand bucks. I'm ready to set fire to this truck.

go to a junk yard & get another 96 harness & start over. not sure where you're located but we have a Pull-A-Part here in the New Orleans area & a harness with fuse block only cost me $24. you don't need much from the 96 harness but you do need some things. no one makes a complete integrated harness you have to remove wires & splice your 96 harness. make sure you get one from a 96. i know 95 & 98 are different. i'm not sure about 97 so i suggest making sure it's from a 96.
are you trying to run both ECU's?
