tcc problems

my 5.3 swapped 94 blazer is having some tcc issues i need help with. when in od going down the highway if i get to the slighest incline the tcc will immediatly unlock briefly then will not lock up again until the next key cycle. the trans goes into limp mode including a firmer shift. code 1870 is set. it will not do it in third gear, tcc function is normal (i normally drive in third). any ideas? im using the newer computer to control the original 94 trans. tc has been converted to on/off and pwm code has been eliminated. is it a program problem or do i need this?

Opted for full rebuild including vette servo and convertor. Had the superior kit put in at same time. Added a big Hayden cooler while veh was down. No more slip codes. On to the next project......gears.
