    Strengthening Transmission

So far I only have a vette servo and a Hayden cooler as far as the transmission. I've been looking at transgo hd2 for shift kit but wanted to see what you guys have done, past experiences n all. And 4l80 isn't an option yet. I guess My question is should I do a shift kit or do 4th and 2nd apply servo. I got a beast gear sunshell and pinless forward accumulator from Oregon performance

I did the servo myself wasn't to bad but that sorta stuff I gotta bring to someone who does transmissions. I want to do a stall but I got 185k on my truck and I talked to guys at circle d and they said a stall would be risky

i just rebuilt my 4l60e with a buddy when i swapped the 5.3 for the LQ9, first time ive ever attemped it and all went well.(took a long while though) ended up doing the beast sunshell, widened 2/4 band, already did the transgo hd2 shift kit, vette servo, got the aluminum pistons free from a trans guy, the rebuild kit came with borg warner high energy clutches and raybestos steels. so far so good, trans holds the power quite well at this point.
