    Hi Guys,
I'm building a street rod on a S10 chassis. It is a long
wheelbase 46 Chevy Panel truck. Today I figured out
that the engine has to come out, so a 4.8 that I have is going
back in place of the 4.3 V6. The 4.8 will be managed by an
Electramotive box. I want to bolt the 4.8 to the 1991 700R4,
but I read somewhere that the flywheel depth is different
on the Gen3 V8. You need to change flywheels if you
are using a Ls1 family engine with an older trans & converter.
    Is anyone familiar with this?
If so, where is the best place to buy the flywheel?
I'm doing this truck on the cheap, but it should be
pretty cool when it's completed (I hope).

Contact the guys at Street and Performance for what you'll need. Their web site is hotrodlane.cc. They have the parts to do the conversion or can do it for you complete from motor mounts to wiring harness.
