    6.0 Swap

    Hey there guys, I have a 2003 Silverado 1500 with a 4.8L that just took a s***. I want to swap it out with a 6.0 from a 2003 Silverado 2500HD. Is this the correct engine? And what do you guys that have swapped do about smog? I live in wonderful (kidding) CA, and don't wanna have to jump through hoops to get it smogged.

    Any advice? This truck is my DD so I am trying to do this as fast as possible but I do not have the money to be needing extras. (A mechanic will be installing the engine).

    as long as you do a direct swap i dont think anything should change, not 100% cus i live ind beautiful oklahoma and there is no inspection
