    Oil Pan kit question

Anybody used this kit in a truck? Just wondering if it will fit an LS6 going into a '99 RCSB 2wd truck.

I bet ya most guys just use the truck pan for ls in most muscle cars. So yeah that's probably what that is.

I know the Camaro(F-Body) pan fits perfect in a OBS LS install.

I'd use the camaro fbody pan, the truck pan is too low, may cause issues.
here is one, gm hi tech just called it an ls1 oil pan in their latest issue, so i'm assuming it's an fbody pan.
it show dimensions as well, http://www.jegs.com/i/GM+Performance...12593/10002/-1

    ls oil pan

If you're putting an LS engine into a 99+ truck why not just use a 99+ truck oil pan? They can be found cheap on ebay, much cheaper than the f-body pan.
