any one know how much oil a 6.0 takes with stock pan and filter. my dip stick was busted and i got a chrome ls1 stick , with 6 quarts it barley on the add mark i figure its just the stick change but i want to be sure, lol

Thats probably a car dipstick, the truck pan is deeper.

yea it is but its chrome and looks better i thought it was 6 just wanted to be positive i can scratch the stick, dont want to be running a quart low. my wifes trailblazer is an inline 6 and takes 6.5 quarts
