Please confirm my Fuel filter is connected correctly

I have installed my AC Delco GF 845 fuel filter and regulator in my 1994 Z-71. It has one 3/8 fitting on one end, and two fittings on the other end, a 5/16 fitting in the middle and a 3/8 fitting next to it. (See picture)

After running air thru the filter, It seemed apparent that the inlet was the single 3/8 fitting, the outlet was the middle 5/16 fitting and the return was the 3/8 fitting next to the 5/16 outlet. Is this correct?

I have run the truck several times around town and have had no fuel issues... It just doesn't seem the way I would have guessed the connections should be.

    Thanks,

Is that number the Corvette filter? If so the single line is the outlet. The way you have it now should work, but the filter is running backwards.

No, for whatever reason I used the filter/regulator fora 2003 4 cyl S10. I looked at my plumbing and it will just be a matter of flipping the filter around and shortening the return line.

yeah, the two fittings side by side are the inlet(3/8") and return to tank(5/16"). The one by itself goes to the engine.
