    Does MAGNAFLOW Give You HorPow

    like the tittle says does magnaflow give you horse power do you feel the diffrence right away? because im planning on putting magnaflow 2 my truck its a 4.8l single cab 2008 chevrolet

    umm the title say HorPow not horse power. But I have no advice on exhaust

    just a muffler change? i doubt it

    itll be better than stock, but I wouldnt do a muffler change just for power, only to get the sound where you want it.

    I actually had a custom 3" mandrel pipe made from catback, with a flowmaster 40, lost low end, didn't notice too much up top. Sounded like garbage.


    Cut the pipe off right past the cab and dumped it (no muffler) and was able to spin the tires a little bit, and I'm sure I didn't lose any top end. (spinning these tires is a big deal lol)

    Exhaust DOES change performance if you have intake/tune to use it.

    I've driven mine for a year dumped, and have never been stopped for it. *knock on wood*. It's a lil loud for some people's taste, but I get compliments on it all the time.
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    sup srg....yea i read a thread on here when alen dyno'd a truck/car with flows on it,,then switched to magnaflows and gained like 8hp i think it was...

    and im sure magnaflow outperforms flows for sure,no chambers

    I noticed zero difference just replacing the muffler, replacing the 2.75 stock exhaust with 3" I noticed a little more top end.
