    6.2 cam opinions

    2008 CCSB

its has a 5.3/60E in it right now
    Mods:
    Pacesetter LTs, OR-y
    Circle D 3200
    90mm LS2 car TB
    4" True CAI
    Vette servos
    3:42/G80

i just picked up a low milege 6.2

my future mods will be an 80E/3200 or 3400(biggest id go) 4:10s tru-trac, FAST truck intake in due time (102mm)

Mod list for the 6.2 before install:
i want to mill my heads to run a 10:5:1 or 11:1 compression 93 octane only.
    Patriot Extreme valve springs
an all around cam that will do good on the street/track.
    id like a choppy idle
id like to change the rod/main cap bolts to ARP an have it balanced (depending price)

im honestly looking for 450rwhp before the FAST intake an id be happy.
if not then ill SC it with a TVS1900/2300 in due time to make up the 550+rwhp

you have a grat platform and it wouldnt take much to hit your goal per rwhp.

sell the pacesetters off get some 1 7/8s run a 3" y pipe at the least.

a good exhaust and a custom cam will get you there quick with the stock truck intake

skeet: im looking to run those 1 7/8" LTs in due time just gotta save up. i figure do the cam, milled heads (10:5:1-11:1) the valve springs, my 90mm TB. i can always change intakes in a couple hrs an LTs in 5-6hrs. so id rather get some of the internals handled up right now.

i would love an Edelbrock Pro-Flo but its poo bc they dont make em for the L92s.

what cam could get me a DD with 450+rwhp?

my fiance' is mad as hell at me for buying this lol. i figure buy it now or buy it later...its still gonna get bought lmao.

PS's will work for now, but the 1 7/8s will help out greatly on your setup, whats up with the TB? you mean have it ported? personally i wouldnt not worth the dollars not i have yet to see any gains from it. which intake do you have now, whichever go with it and see where you end up then make wise decissions from on out as for cam, hard to say and i dont wanna lead you wrong.
