im almost done with my 6.0 swap in my tahoe and have ran into the throttle cable being to short. i know that i can measure and go out to a salvage yard and look for one that will work but i dont have much time right now so im wondering if anyone knows what model truck or car has one that will work. thanks for any info

98 vortec v8 is very long or use the Impala SS cable, the big boat years like 94.

Hello, I am using a 96 up vortec 350 throttle cable on my 95, but I also have read that the 94-96 Impala ss cable works well also, the vortec cable is a little long, but I like that because I can route it out of sight under my 3 piece engine covers.

thanks yall!! a little extra length is ok as i have a body lift so that will take up a little bit of the slack and also i will be putting some 3piece covers on it later and that will solve that.

If you guys didn't know....The 94-96 Caprices & Buick Roadmasters use the same cable as the Impys. Easier to find in the junkyard.
