Fuel pump question NBS to tbi OBS

I'm collecting parts for the swap and I'm about to buy a wrecked truck I found.

Has anybody ever swapped the fuel pump from a NBS to a tbi OBS?

I know what mine looks like and was thinking I could just take the pump/sock off the NBS assembly and attach it to the tbi wiring harness and assembly plus some high pressure line and I'd be good to go?

Just trying to save some coin wherever I can.

The easiest route would be to just swap the pumps in the tank. That way you still have all your stock fuel and electrical connections. Plus the way the complete unit mounts in the tank is different if you wanted to swap the whole thing.

If I remember correctly (from '03 lol), a mustang 255 walbro fit right in my obs '94 tank.

50 bucks here and 50 bucks there add up pretty quick and the only way I'm going to sneak mods in past the wife is if I cut costs somewhere and secondly, I'm a cheap bastard.
