is the 6.0 out of say a 2001 the same as an 03+? A friend of mine is telling me that the 03+ are drive by wire system, so i wont be able to swap one in if is a newer engine. He figures that as long as the new truck I get has a v8 in it, the swap will be just like replacing the engine, all i will need is the computer for a that engine, as long as it matches the throttle system. I have yet to drive anything other than an 03+, so I dont know. Any help?
