Just snatched the LT1/700R out of my 86 to start the rebuild. Want to go back with a 6 liter with a 4l80e. I'm separating the engine harness from the truck harness and was wondering if the 4l80e has a VSS on the tailshaft? I have a Dakota Digital gauge cluster. Also, I have been running Z28 electric fans with a painless wiring relay kit, using temp sensors in the heads and turning them on with the AC compressor. Does the PCM run the fans also? Thanks, just trying to make sure I do this right.
