    LT1 intake manifold mods

What the hot thing to do with the injected carburetor for the 5.7 L? Truck is going to be used mainly for everyday driving and towing, but still want enough power to mess with people in the streets.

    Injected carb? The TBI?

-Put a set of Vortec heads on it
-Get an edlebrock performer vortec intake
    -A Trans-A-Dapt 2210 adapter
-Get a chip burned for it
    -Boneyard 454 throttle body
-a set of long tube headers
    -Enjoy

I wouldn't go much further than this with this engine. you'll end up spending as much as an ls swap would cost after a while
    01 ecsb 5.3 4x4 z71
Avalanche 17s and a pant load of miles

    61 Corvette
    350, 4 speed, 4.56's

    32 Ford 4 door sedan
    keeping it "stockish"

The stock intake is good for up to 750hp or so with a 58mmtb with proper clearancing. Don't waste your time on the POS Edelbrock manifold, like everything else they build, it's a piece of crap. Stock throttle body is good up to 500hp as well, you don't need to go to a bigger one honestly on 99% of the builds.
