Fuel Pressure Gauge Installed In Cab?

With a mechanical fuel pressure gauge installed in the cab, what type of pressure line is everyone using? Is the 1/8" nylon tubing, that comes with many other direct pressure mechanical gauges, resistant to gas & sufficient for a 60 P.S.I. fuel gauge? Thanks for the input.

I would highly advise against putting a manual style fuel gauge inside the vehicle.

    Fire Fire Fire.

I'm old and so are the two people above me.

Go with an isolator or an electric/sender type.

O.K., no mechanical fuel pressure gauge...for safety's sake. Anyone place the electric gauge pressure sender anywhere other than the end of the fuel rail? If so, where? Maybe back at the fuel filter/regulator on the frame rail? Thanx

Mine is screwed into the test port on the right side of the fuel rail, with the Schrader valve removed of course.

I had a 6"-8" stainless braided piece made at the local Parker Store. That way, I could attach it to the test port, then loop it up under the top cover so it's hardly noticeable.
