You can get drilled and slotted rotors and good brake pads. Any other way will cost you lots.

Braided steel brake lines. I had to use them because of my lift, but they increased braking power significantly! No more spongy feel on the pedal, too.

Well, you can upgrade the front brakes to the 04 and up caliper/rotors/pads. When GM switched from the 4 wheel disks back to the front disk/rear drum setup, they increased the size of the front brakes. Its all factory and will bolt right up. You can go to Autozone or O'Reilly and get everything there. Just make sure to say its from a 2WD 04 and up truck with the rear drum brakes.

Yup. But just to be sure, get either 05 or 06 stuff.

Your suburban will already have the 2 piston calipers in the rear, so like already said get the 05 front brakes and also look into a factory hydroboost set-up from a 2004-up Suburban/Tahoe.
