    6.2L swap help

I see the topic of swapping the 5.3L for the 6.2L come up often. The current engine is a 5.3L LMG in a 2009 Sierra. The 5.3L from the latest trucks and 6.2L both use a 58x reluctor wheel, so that won't be an issue. I have a couple of questions to better understand what this swap involves.

    1. Do the crew cab and denali have heavier duty parts such as the radiator and rear end, motor mounts, etc.
    2. Does anyone know exactly what extra parts are required to do the swap and the actually process to do it.

I am assuming that computer issues would be the biggest obstacle. It would be awesome if there was a guide to help with this swap.

The Pcm can be tuned relatively easy.... if you are just doing a complete swap than the pcm tune and roll... Im pretty sure it will be that easy but the guys on here are top notch so you came to the right place.....

would be a simple plug and play swap. I dont think they have the heavy duty rear end unless they came with the 6.0 or 6.2.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
