i have a set up in mind for my truck
just can't decide what motor to go with

it's- whatever block i choose with ported 5.3L heads
edelbrocks performer LS1 carb intake with the cam and carb they recommend
super 40 single in dual out
with 3.73 gears and detroit tru trac locker

not looking for a 600HP monster..maybe 400ish..just a daily driver/weekend warrior that looks and sounds great, but will leave imports and mustangs in my rear view

Welcome aboard, but watch the language here. Kids around.

Why go with a carb? I assume this is on the truck in your avatar?

Log in & go to User CP up top, that will take you to a page where the sig link is on the left side.

Carbs are not retarded on LS ENGINES (motors are electric) but they are in a vehicle that was both injected from the factory AND was built with an LS engine.

    Welcome.
