    5.3 to 700r HELP!

Have a buddy of mine wanting to do the 700r but hes stuck here's his question

Got a nice complete 07 5.3 and would like to be able to use it in one of my rigs. Problem is the drive by wire with no way to run a tv cable for the 700R4....
I was even thinking of running a T400 behind the 5.3...
Any suggestions or tips where I can find out more??

ditch the GBW and put a regular TB on it. then use a 98 flexplate to let the 700r4 converter work

Lokar does not make the bracket. I got mine from S&P. It is a small l bracket you tack weld to the throttle body cam and hook the Lokar 700 kickdown too.
TV cable is Kickdown, just a little reminder.

The Lokar cable will hook to the tv loop, run the cable, cut it to length and open the throttle to WOT and remove the slack from the cable. This will adjust pressure adequetly.

If you want, you can simply make an L-bracket to tack weld onto your tb cam by yourself. I paid 37.00 for mine and felt ripped off but it worked perfectly. I'll try and get some pics.

P.S, does he know he needs the 6.0 crank spacer??
