Dude, you're toast. The transmission bellhousing is different on the diesel and won't swap over to the gas engine. You would have to swap transmission housings to reuse your current transmission. That swap sounds like it would be a ton of work. The fuel cell uses a small lift pump to drag fuel from the tank up the the injector pump. Its an external 15 psi or so fuel pump and no pump is in the fuel tank, if I remember correctly. If you can't do the work yourself you might as well sell this truck off or look at conversion pricing close to what it would cost you to buy a new truck. I like that you don't have to do emissions testing, is that because its a diesel? Get the diesel fixed and go about using it as is.

I'm not saying its not possible to be done but you'll need cubic dollars to pay someone to do that swap. Figure about 80 shop hours in addition to the cost of parts.

    80 X 80 = a lot. Ooops.....in Cali it's 80 X 140.

Why did GM ever make a half ton with a 6.5, much less a Blazer?

Why not? The truck is already a diesel, and it's been proven that a 4l80 will work on a DMax....

    It has?

    OK.

I've had a rough day but an 80 is one half of what an LCT1000 is. Not sure any of the bolts would line up and the entire truck might wad into a pretzel if a DMax was installed.

How many of you have seen a DMax flexplate or converter?

    LOL

Next you're going to tell me, that a Duramax has never been installed in a Mustang... Right?

Read the article. Not only does the car have an 80e, it has 800 horsepower... And does 9's in the 1/4
