    New MagnaFlow

I got my new MagnaFlow today. Had them cut out the factory exhaust and replace it with a new muffler (single 3" in/out). Come to find out the 3" fits the head pipe but have 2.5" in the back. There is a huge drone inside the cab. Has anyone done this? Do you have the same drone?
I am thinking about replacing the tail pipe with a 3" to see if it sounds any better. Overall, the outside sounds good.

if you have any drone it would most likely have something to do with the funnel effect of having 3" of gas going into the muffler and only 2.5" of pipe to exit. The gases would have to compress inside the muffler to fit out the 2.5" tailpipe. That is probably what is causing the drone if you have the tailpipe installed.
