Truck started off, as a completely stock 2nd owner vehicle

The day I bought the truck, I ordered a new grill, billet bowtie, headlights, clear markers, led tails, intake, bully-dog programmer, and had a custom 3" mandrel bent exhaust with flowmaster muffler installed

At this time I was BROKE, and my stock wheels were corroded, so i decided to sand/murder them out

Drove the truck for about 18 months, and did nothing but wash/wax it.

Was pulling into work one day in middle of winter, and some IDIOT had leaked transmission fluid all over the parking lot. Hit brakes, and slid straight into a concrete pole. Shattered the lights, popped a fender, twisted the bumper all up, jacked some suspension parts up.

Was at this time I decided if I was going to replace stuff, might as well try something new. I bought a 7" Fabtech lift, got a new rear end from a rolled 06 z71 (3.73 g80 instead of stock 3.42 open), picked up a set of rollbars, bought a push bar, and decided to make the truck "aggressive" since it was no longer 'show truck' worthy. Scraped the black stockers and picked up some polished mickey thompsons

During one of my many trips to a boneyard, found a real nice hood, so decided to play with my old stock one, that still had a little bit of damage from the pole

With truck lifted, I decided to upgrade the brakes, with russell stainless lines, drilled/slotted rotors, and ceramic pads all the way around. Was around this time I found ls1trucks and almost immediately added a larger tb, underdrive pulley, put on some electric fans, and chopped off the flowmaster muffler dumping the exhaust after factory cats.

The truck still wasn't tall enough so I added a 3" body, and some 36" super swamper STS tires on weld rims, elephant mirrors....and was dumb enough to let my buddies talk me into taking the truck trail-riding. Several scratches/dents later...the truck stayed the same for almost a year.

As of lately, I have decided the truck is too slow. I have already purchased a set of 4.56 yukon gears, detroit locker, trick flow diff cover, 36lb ls1 injectors, comp cam, a set of 862 heads that Lambo is having worked for me. Installed a interceptor gauge to watch things, and got a Nelson tune.

I still need to pick up the headers/pushrods/new oil pump/gaskets/timing chain/etc

I sold the rollbars (so truck will fit in a garage again)

The truck will get a permabuild trans with a 2600 stall. Hoping for around 400 horse N/A

Sold the 36lb injectors... going to go with 42's or 60's. Bought a wideband, had the tune modified a little bit. Heads are FINALLY done, lambo should be shipping them out this week

Still need pushrods, oil pump, the injectors, and some misc gaskets.

Decided to wait til spring to tear INTO the motor, and bought a nitrous kit to keep me happy until then. Will most likely run a 100 shot. Probably going to upgrade my rod bolts while everything is apart, then possibly bump up to a 150 shot. I bought a blazer as a daily driver, so Silvy is JUST a toy now. Hoping to run a mid-low 12 on the spray once motor is done and I get my stall in. Will probably drop down to 33" tires once these heavy 36's are completely bald (almost there)

Few pics of the new toys. (most are taken with my phone, which has been dropped way too many times, and distorts stuff)

(day I bought it, after wetsanding/waxing...did brakes/cleaned wheels next day)

(tinted the windows, because I was paranoid about someone yanking the gauges)

i actually bought these used, and have put like 18k on them. Funny thing is, I spin them CONSTANTLY, and the rears only have like 1/32 less tread then the fronts. I think the fronts wear down faster from turning, i can hear them skip/chirp when I turn going faster then a crawl. I've never rotated them, but truck really isn't driveable in the rain anymore. They've hit that point, I can break them loose at 80 if I floor it. I MAY get new tires before winter, but most likely truck will sit unless there is ZERO snow on the street.

Got the heads from Lambo... look AWESOME! Got the 44lb marine injectors. Still need to pick up an oil pump, ls7 lifters, walbro pump, and few misc things before I tear into the motor. Want to get the NOS dialed in before I put the expensive engine parts on, JUST in case.

Installed the 100 shot, and of course, immediately went to a 125.... 150 looks like it will be in the near future. The NOS window switch I bought will not work without a 'tach adapter' instead of messing with it, I orded a digital one from Trick performance. Should have it installed by the weekend. Going to bump the bottle pressure up to 950 (was only running 700ish on the first bottle, truck was running about 10.5 on the wideband) Plugs showed a LITTLE rich, but nothing to really be worried about. Hoping the added pressure leans it out enough, and keeps me happy with the 125 shot. Planning on running window switch from 2600-5500 atleast until i get the built trans in. Then i will up the shot and raise the window a couple hundred rpm.

Went for a photo shoot (don't judge us) with midwestSS and of course we had a few 'legal' runs to test the trucks. He got about 5 trucks on me OFF the spray...and well, I def won on it
