    Plans for truck (Advice needed)

Well I just got my cam in, I still need a retune and all cause I have to two-foot it everywhere. a 160* Stat is going in with the retune as well. My next mods are tranny and gears.

As you all know Im running the 4.8 with a 4l60e huge tires and lift, and a weak sauce 3.73/g80 rear end. My friend is offering his 4.10s and trutrac he used for less than 10,000 miles on his boosted truck for cheap. would the gears and lsd be strong and sufficient to support the 35"s and power from the motor? the truck is at 34k Miles right now and with my driving habits Im not sure how long my 60e is gonna last me.

Someone recommended I get an FLT Stage 3 built 60e, but Im not sure If I need to go bigger and get a stage 5 tranny for future mods down the road.

If I dont need bigger, would it be necessary just doing this? (A friend said he had the 5 pinion gears [Think thats what they are called] out of a TBSS that I could grab from him and get installed along with a Complete Zippy Shift Kit and servos and all.

Ive been debating on putting a radix on the truck or some other charger, but that wont be till way down the road.

Any ideas to help me keep my stuff from blowing up would be great as well haha

go lvl5 and get the billit output shaft and billet input shaft.
Gears- if you are going to stay na, go with 4.56 or 4.88 gears.

Will that work for 4wd though?

What driveshaft are you running? I was thinking about running Spicer equipment if I put a radix on..Which is my goal in the future..

In that case would 4.10s/trutrac be ok?

Will what work? The billet shafts? Flt has the billet input and output shafts for 4x4 trans. Its worth getting right away. Before they had the billet input shaft available, I had their hardened input shaft and snapped it in 2.

I'm running my stock driveshaft. I would still go with the 4.56 4.88 though.
I went with 4.10 to help load the turbo.

yeah the I/O shafts are a pretty good investment. Seeing as how mines so light and im not pushing too much power the input output shafts are not a must right now
