    Denali exhaust

What would be the best way to run the exhaust and which muffler to use to get the best sound out of this 6.0. I have thought about keeping the factory tail pipe and replaceing the stock muffler w/ two 40 series flow's or chamberd muffs that the muffler shop i deal with makes. Or would you go with true duals all the way back?

You have the same dilema I have. Weirdo 6.0 with no Y and a two in, one out muffler. Let me know what you come up with.

have you heard the stock exhaust on the 6.2 denali's. thought about doing that but id hate to know how much that would cost from a dealer. i thought the 6.0 gto's sounded good stock but these make them sound like a 6 banger. i recomend going to a dealer and check one out.

Well I am also stuck with the same bullsh*t exhaust. Tonight I finally finished mine. I ended up going with pacesetter longtubes, ORY, Borla XR-1, and modified
the ORY to a 3.5in vs the 3in single. Yeah it sucks that I got away from the duals but it made a HUGE difference in power... I am very happy.

i read some were that u made more power by running duals most of the way then going back and exiting into one pipe. my wifes cousin has a highly moded 05 rcsb silvy and had duals all the way then went back to a singal tail pipe and said that it made a big difference in power increase.

OK then....the SD's have a different muffler system than the YD's then. Sounds like the Y after the muffler is the same as a 3/4 ton work mule. The 6.2 sounds very good unmodified. If you spend enough time searching online, you could pretty easily find a take off 6.2 system. Many a folk (and Dealer for that matter) have swapped out their 6.2 exhaust for something else.

    waygfast86w, you better have pics....LOL

After the mods listed and with 10% ethanol I get around 13 city and 16 highway. I've never seen more than 16.2 on the DIC and 16 point anything I've seen ONCE.

    Love it?
