    Heads question

SO this is a mod im thinking about in the distant future, truck is 01 cc 4x4 with the 6.0

I know it has the 317 now, and have heard about the 243 direct swap giving an increase in compression/ small hp gain with the same flow.

My question is if Im going to go with a stage 2 set of heads from either Patriot or WCCH am I going to notice a difference between the two? Couldnt the 317s be milled to make the same comp ratio and if they flow the same before port work do they flow the same after with similar work between the two?

Did I make that confusing enough or should I try again

you could make the compression ratio the same with machining. the stock heads will never out flow an aftermarket set. the aftermarket will probably flow more out of the box than the stock will ported.

Know a ballpark of how much WCCH charges for porting and milling them?
