Best year for LQ9/4 with 4l80e

I've got a 99 4wd 2dr Tahoe. My tranny went out last week and I'm looking for a 6.0 with a 4l80e to swap into it. Is there any specific year or vehicle to look for? An 03+ 2500 seems like the cheapest, but will any 4wd 80e hook up to my autotrac np246 t-case? And am I going to have to move the transmission cross member back a bit with the new motor and tranny? Thanks for the help
