The "free" drop on my Z71

Did the "free" 1/2 drop on my truck yesterday. I include the "" because its not exactly free since I paid about $50 for the shorter U-Bolts from GMPartsDirect.com (Part #15002781). I pulled the rear 2" blocks and did 7 full turns (actually 14 half turns) to drop the front end down an inch.

I didn't realize how sensitive the pics are to showing the drop but there is definitely a difference now.

    Some other shots...

The Install went very quick and was very easy to do. I am pleased with the results. Got it aligned correctly today and it drives great!

For better instructions on how to do the drop look at post #6 here

    Miller Lite!

It's there in the 1st pic and missing in the 2nd even though the extension cord has been left undisturbed. What happened?

drop looks real nice...I don't know how yours sits, but with mine I still had about 1 1/2" height diff in the back compared to the front, so I put drop shackles in and you wouldn't believe how much different you can make a 4wd truck look...just some words for thought...again awesome job tho!
