1994 Chevrolet 4.3... 4.8 or 5.3

I know this has been discussed and i searched around for answers.. found a few but didnt get all of my questions answered. Can someone give me a list of things i need to get this done.. Say i pick up the 5.3l and the 4l60E.. what all would it take to get i done. I know the wiring harness and probably fuel pump.. but what else?

I really need to get this up on the site, I'm getting sore fingers from typing so much,

Fuel pump - 60psi
wiring harness - rebuild your new truck harness
engine mounts -
radiator - yours will be fine with electric fans
radiator hoses
three wire temp sensor

i'll think of more later when you ask specifics, this should get you started,

btw, a stock ls1 should push your truck in the mid 13's.

What PSI fuel pump does the 4.3 have stock?

i believe vortecs are like 30-35 psi, im not sure about tbi 4.3's like he's got.

Thanks for the help Allen.. i knew you had done something similiar to your truck. What about the stock drive shaft? I think my buddy already has a V8 radiator so that isnt a problem.. and im guessing have to go with a stock 5.3 or aftermarket air intake

I went with a denny's shaft after breaking three of them. It wasn't the power, it was the 4.10's and high speed that broke them.
Your stock one will work fine until you can get a good one.

Also, that stock v8 radiator will work fine too.

You will be able to buy a 255lph fuel pump for a fbody, and the unit will go right in the assembly that is in the gas tank. You need 60psi. The trucks come with a fuel regulator.
