well, what all is coming with ur 6.0? one thing i would check is is the 6.0's intake manifold has egr. the 4.8 probably doesnt and if the 6.0 does itd be easy to just bolt the 4.8's manifold onto the 6.0 and have ur tuner delete the egr.

You'll need the PCM retuned for the 6.0L engine. A couple friends, a hoist, a toolbox full of tools and a case of beer is a good start. Be sure to check the crankshaft length before trying to stab it in. Be sure it's the same length as the one you're taking out and if it's longer, see if it has an extension pressed on it that you can remove. Reuse the 4.8 flywheel unless you know everything is identical.

Is it time for the transplant? I've got a 4.8 CC that needs a 408. If they don't believe it's a 4.8 the can check the VIN.
