i should be ordering my 3.73 tomorrow. but was wondering when i get them . will i have to do anything to the ecm or tranny. after the install. or will it run okay ? i wont be able to tune it for another month or so. or should i wait till i can get it tuned? 3.73 or 4.10? this is my first performance mod.

I'm sure you have to get your speedometer recalibrated. Why didnt you go 4.10's?

4.10 ? maybe i will. i heard 3.73 is a good replacement. but maybe those 4.10 will help move these 20s a bit faster. thats one vote for 4.10.

Those 4.10's will help move it faster. Plus the gas mileage isnt that horrible. I get about 17 to the gallon on the highway with AWD. I could see yours being worse. Im thinking about upgrading to 4.56's. It would be a badass take off! You should start a poll and see what kind of results you get today. 4.10's or 3.73's

Yeah mine, my truck was a v6 and now its a v8. I put 4.10's and an eaton LSD. I just retuned my truck for the gears. Man, what a difference from those 3.42's.
