New to this forum. seems like a great site with good group of people. I think I might be the Northern most
member of this site. My ride is a 2003 SS Silverado, 6.0 Radix w/2.9 pulley, Nelson tuned ( thanks Allen you
da man), Corsa exhaust, Flex fans, Volant CAI, "Zippy" shift kit, meth kit, and TB convertor on the way. I wonder how this set up will run at -40 below zero? Well getting late!!!!!!!!!

A fellow SS driver... Welcome. Do they have tracks up in Alaska that you could get you 1/4 in? I always wondered how a Supercharged SS would perform.

Hey,

Man, -40 degrees, I am on the opposite spectrum from you, Texas weather never gets that cold. We are always trying to find new ways to keep our trucks cool in the summer. Sound like you have a good setup. That Nelson tune is priceless. Allen sure does take care of us down here and I guess up there now.
Glad to have you.

Welcome, You might be the farthest north, But I also know what -40 feels like. Minot North Dakota always make the National News during the winter. You should post some pics of you truck.

What's up guys? We have a track here in AK but it's 300 miles away. I plan on going down in a few weeks. My Aeroforce gauge says I run 12.88@ 104 mph and 4.67 0-60 mph, man I wish that was accurate. But truck does run real strong. It was 55 degrees outside during that run, that might of helped just a tad. I guess that's one good thing about living in the arctic. I'll post some pics ( when I figure it out) but truck looks stock. Need to keep it stealth mode so not to scare off those SRT10s. I believe the SSS was meant to be supercharged and with a Nelson tune this thing is an animal and I still get 14mph city and 17 hwy. Who said you can't have it all?

Damn, I want a supercharger!!!! I just dont have the 5+ G's right now!! And don't see me getting that type or spending money in the future unless I hit the LOTO!

Yeah I know, the kit is spendy. I gave it a lot of thought before buying it. I sold my 68 pro street chevelle. So I used some of that money for the kit. If nothing else I would just get a tune from Allen and you'll notice a big difference.

Hey, glad you're enjoying the tune and truck, I bet it runs strong with all those mods.

If you're interested, give us a call and when we get caught up, we'll increase the tune a bit and see how it turns out; make it a bit more aggressive.

Since you have meth on that Radix, there's a lot of potential.

thanks and nice to see you on the site,
allen

Yeah, that sounds good Allen thanks. I'll call you after the new converter is installed and I'll try getting some real track times..... and I was concerned it wouldn't make power on 90 octane, ha.
