    Tac Module Woes...

Alright fellas, I'm just about done purchasing the last bits for my install.

    2003 Denali lq4
    1999 4l80e from a Express 2500
    ECU 12589463
    00-06 Silverado Gas Pedal
    03-07 Tac Harness from PSI
    GMPP ASA Cam
    LS6 Valve springs
    7.4" pushrods
    Schoenfeld headers
    Circle D 3000-3200 converter
And a harness from Nelson Performance will be ordered later this week.

Now I purchased a Tac module for a 01-02 Escalade, and realized that after the purchase that this was indeed the wrong one. I sourced a module numbered 12588923 and I'm guessing that this will be the correct one for the application. Can someone let me know if I'm going the right direction?

I know there r differences between TAC modules and wiring.
Even going from an '05 to an '06.
So be sure all the pn's match the pcm and its application.

Farmtruc, you don't happen to have an idea on which module would work with ECU Service NO 12589463? I just paid the deposit for my harness with you guys, Roy is taking care of me.

the 463 is an '05 pcm, which is the only harness we build, so you're good to go there.
the tac module must come from an '05 as well, or compatible, but the '06 is not compatible, so don't get that one.
the tac we use to test our harness on our test stand is : PN 12573059
all components much match or you will be running into the dreaded REP mode.
as far as pedal, use an '05.

we use these parts and we never have an issue with rep mode.

Looks like the TAC that I purchased the second time around is correct, the part numbers interchange and the unit covers 03-05 model years.

This will ease a lot of confusion for me.

I also ordered a PCM tune, but didn't know which vin/year to put into the form since the truck engine is a 2002, the ecu is maybe a 2005, and the truck itself is a 1990 C1500.

Is it possible I can have everything shipped together, ECU and the two harnesses?

Everything will ship together. I will be calling you in just a few to get the final details together in order to get the ball rolling.

    Thank you,

Erica, Can you email me instead of calling, I'm at work and the cell reception here on the North Slope of Alaska is HORRIBLE.
