Vacuum Hoses: Gen IV 5.3 in 88 Blazer

    Hi,

I'm getting just about finished with this swap I began in September. Work has really put a damper in my timeline, but so far, all is well, and I'm still on budget. I've got some questions about vacuum lines that I'm not sure about. Any help or tips would be most appreciated.

    1) I was told the port on the back of the LMG Gen IV intake manifold needs to be modified in order to work correctly when installed to the brake booster hose. Is this right? If so, what needs to be done? It seems like the hose would hook right up - why wouldn't it work?

    2) Does the upper radiator hose need a steam vent bypass build in?

That's good for now - I have a few more vacuum hose questions, but I want to put some decent pictures up for reference.

    Thanks!

12559760 that is the gm part number for the fitting you need for the back of the intake manifold so you can hook up your brake booster

Thanks Mike - I'm going to look into this. I tried to find an image of the part, but I couldn't find it. The price is right, though.
