Change my own oil or let the dealership????

I have always changed my own oil using Mobil1. When we purchased my 2013 Silverado Z71, the salesman (personal friend) snuck in the service plan for free oil changes and tire rotations for 3 years. My question is, is that even though I didn't pay for the service plan, should I still continue to change my own oil? Reason being is because I'm sure dealerships use the oil that was sold by the lowest bidder and probably not synthetic. I'm pretty anal about my vehicles which is why I'm looking for guidance and not really concerned about paying for and doing my own oil changes.

    Thanks!

CHANGE IT YOUR SELF. then you know what is in there and it was done right, " making sure the filter is done" I have have very little oil changed by someone else but everytime it has been done by someone other than me it is never done right!!!!!! I have has the wrong grade oil put in, I have payed for synthetic got regular oil. have had the oil filter not changed. they have stripped my drain plug numerous times. and the list goes on. If you have to question something do it your self.
