Hey my name is Kevin, I have a 2002 V6 5-speed named Herb. I am looking for some information on an engine swap. I would like the 5.7 or 6.0, I am just looking for the information on what is required right now. I want to keep a manual transmission, and I am reading this tranny won't hold up to the extra power. The main purpose for the swap would be to pull a boat a little easier, and to be different. I know it would be faster but if I want to go fast I have motorcycles for that, I am just looking to have more than the little V6 has. I don't like having to down shift so much just to get around a car or go up an incline.
