Hey everyone, been on this website for a while now and have gotten a lot of
knowledge and inspiration from all of you. Don't know how long this is going to
take but already there is a large sucking sound in my wallet! Anyways, I'll post
my progress as I go.
Swapping in 2008 5.3 Gen 4 engine, 4l80e trans

Here are some more pics of engine. 08 5.3. This engine is supposed to be
a high output 5.3. Aluminum block, "243" heads, big valves. 100k miles
bought the engine for $800. Also got a 4l80e with about 1500 miles on it for
$800.
I've built a engine run stand that I am going to run it on before I put it in the truck.
Still need to tweak the stand a little, put gauges in it, battery holder, etc.
