Junkyard 5.3 LM7 Engine Swap Series

Ok so what we have here is the cheapest engine swap available in my area.

I paid 325 for 3 junkyard engines and i mean JUNK two rusted solid and one rusted but going to use.. one 4.8 and two 5.3s, am using one of the 5.3s as a swap for the 6.0 which the lifter totally ate the cam gm is hotcam or vice versa ..

I have footage of everything that happens and i mean everything, its just taking some time to get them all edited up into watchable videos.. ill be editing for the next year probly lol no really ha

Ill be posting videos every so often of whats going on or if you don't want to wait around, just stop by my youtube for loads of the videos iv already uploaded

im starting this post with the 2nt video which is the first update..

Throwing an update out as of 12-11-15 Finally got it in the truck and running today, iv got it all on video from the first start and all...

First start video with RED LINE REV LIMIT coming soon, no worries just give me time to edit it all up..

This video is from when i got home from getting gas and had driven 5 or so miles, just playing with HPtuners messing with some parameters trying to get it to idle right..

Ok throwing out another update, as of 12-11-15 This is the first start video, this video was taken the same day as the one above..

Now if you want to see some red line rev limiter hits, look for the engine break-in or the no piston slap cold start videos..

Also as of 12-22-15 there is 109 miles on the rebuild .. there will be tuning videos coming soon...
